Type number description.
Each Solite luminaire is identified by a unique reference, which indicates to us the model type and size of fitting.
Examples:
Epsilon fitting, 600 x 1200 (the old British 2 feet x 4 feet) is identified as E612
Lambda fitting 300 x 1800 (the old British 1 feet x 6 feet) is identified as L318
In addition, there are suffixes, which identify more specific information such as:
- 2/??w Two tubes (wattage tba)
- 3/??w Three tubes (wattage tba)
- 4/??w Four tubes (wattage tba)
- ?/18w Indicates number of tubes with specific wattage (ie.18w)
- SF Meaning Single Frame
- DF Meaning Double Frame
- LGG Meaning the fitting is designed for laying on a gasket grid.
- EM Meaning that an Emergency module is required
- RA Meaning Rear Access capability - Maintenance access for luminaire
is required from above the ceiling. - RATF Meaning Rear Access Though Front - the luminaire is fitted with a rear access
hatch, removable from inside the luminaire to permit access to factory plant
directly above the luminaire. - PPD Meaning the luminaire requires a prismatic polycarbonate diffuser.
- CPD Meaning the luminaire requires a clear polycarbonate diffuser.
- UV Protective UV film required.
- CTG Meaning that a clear toughened glass diffuser is required
- STG Meaning that a “stipple” toughened glass diffuser is required
- RFC Meaning that a lay over Rear Fire Canopy is required.
Order example:
You require an Epsilon fitting 300mm x 1200mm with two 28w tubes with an Emergency module. You would like a Prismatic Polycarbonate diffuser and a rear fire canopy to aid ceiling void fire protection.
