The 3C exhibition at the NEC in April provided the opportunity for us to introduce our latest developments integrating LED lighting solutions for clean area applications.
We demonstrated a 600 x 600 Epsilon recessed luminaire with the latest development in optical control and the Solite Sigma tear drop (lamina flow) luminaries with LED light source technology.
LED offers longer life than typical fluorescent lamps when correctly thermally managed, providing extended luminaire maintenance cycles together with energy savings.

Following its continuing success Solite have extended their "Zeta" range of walk-on recessed luminaires to include the new Zeta-S HM high mount version.
The Zeta-S HM is designed for use in clean production areas with high ceilings where luminaires require servicing from above. Provides an LOR in excess of 60% with high performance internal reflectors which are available in both wide and narrow beam configurations.
Solite recently installed the Zeta-S HM 41T4/54W T5 (4 lamp 54W T5) in a large aircraft wing manufacturing facility in the UK (pictured below). The ceiling height of this facility was 8.0 meters so the Zeta-S HM was the perfect choice. For more information please view our Zeta-S HM PDF.

The Zeta range was developed in response to clients' requests for a walk over, totally flush, ceiling integrated, sealed cleanroom luminaire. For full details see the product page.
This walk-on luminaire is flush fit (top & bottom) into composite load-bearing ceiling panels 50mm thick and upwards. The unique integrated central strengthening member gives the luminaire full walk-on capability and provides a separate gear compartment, which also acts as a safety rail to prevent accidental fall through when the lid is removed for maintenance.
