Solite has shown significant growth over the last years, and this represents is an exciting opportunity to join our sales team and help Solite accelerate it’s growth plan.
We are looking to strengthen our team with a dedicated employee in line with the following requirements:
To develop, implement and execute our marketing and sales strategy within the UK market, primarily in the South East of England.
To achieve the set annual sales targets and relevant KPIs.
To support a network of specialist contractors, engineering consultants, end-users and industry specialist architects.
Help to cultivate a demand for our specialist products.
To be able to carry out lighting designs using Dialux/Relux/AutoCad as and when required to support your customers.
To ensure new products are fully introduced to all your target customer base.
To conduct relevant product training for your customer base.
To accurately maintain our CRM system holding out projects and customers database as required to ensure that the project/account status are always up to date.
To gain knowledge of customer requirements to feedback to the business.
To liaise with the necessary parties when local sales opportunities fall outside the UK.
To liaise with various departments within the Group, to ensure satisfactory customer support/backup.
To observe Health & Safety regulations and encourage others to do so.
To carry out any task delegated by Solite Management.
Willingness to travel off area to realise project opportunities and grow customer base to benefit Solite.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical lighting sales role within the specification and end user market.
Be able to set pricing levels and negotiate orders to maximise profitability.
Thorough knowledge of LED technology and a basic understanding of lighting controls would be preferred.
Be able to demonstrate a stable career within lighting.
Good to excellent capabilities in using lighting software’s such as AGi, Dialux or Relux.
Experience with industrial end users will be advantageous but not essential.
Be able to demonstrate capability to understand broader sector requirements.
Ability to deliver technical presentations tailored to the customer needs.
Provide unique technical solutions within the sector.
Experience in electrical installation will be advantageous but not essential.
High degree of self-motivation, independence and willingness to deliver a project from concept to delivery including high levels of customer service.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must.
